My Four Favorite Moments From Insecure

As the cast gets ready for what will be "the final chapter" of Insecure on HBO, let's go down memory lane and revisit some of the best moments from the show so far.

All good things must come to an end, and Insecure fans know this better than anyone as Season 5 was announced as the final season. With season 4 ending with a jaw-dropping cliffhanger, there's no telling what will happen next. So let's revisit some of the moments from the show that made Insecure our favorite albeit sometimes most stressful show to watch.

1. Broken Pu**y

“Maybe it’s dry as hell, maybe it really smells ...” Not only did this moment from the first episode introduced us to Issa's rapping, which would make many appearances throughout the show, but it also introduced us to the rollercoaster of a dynamic that is Molly and Issa's friendship. While she is supposed to be cheering Molly up from another bad date, Issa really has her eyes set on Daniel, who is not her boyfriend. She gets on stage and raps about a very personal conversation she had with Molly to impress him. Understandably, Molly is upset, but the rap is very funny (sorry sis).

2. Issa spends the day with Nathan

If you don't know, I'm very much Team Nathan (sorry, Lawrence). Especially after that twist at the end of Season 4 with Condola, I think Issa needs to jump ship. Her chemistry here with Nathan is just undeniable. In Season 3 when Issa's trying to figure out what she wants to do next in life, a conversation with Nathan has her taking her creative potential a lot more seriously. A lot better than the rut she was stuck in with Lawrence (yea, I said it).

3. Kelli at Coachella

"Remember me different..." If there's one stand-out character from Insecure, and believe me, there are actually many; it would be Kelli. Kelli is a national treasure and as a huge Beyonce fan, I relate to taking a risk to see Queen Bey on stage even if it means getting tased.

4. Issa and Lawrence reconnect

Although I am Team Nathan, I can't deny how well Lawrence and Issa looked in this episode. Seeing how much Issa and Lawrence grew from the two people we met in episode 1 showed two people who could possibly be in a much healthier relationship than they once were. Of course that later all came crashing down thanks to Lawrence's inability to use condoms so let's reminisce on the moment that gave us hope.

If these moments make you want to watch again (I don't blame you), you can watch here on Amazon. What's your favorite moment from Insecure so far? Let me know in the comments!
