The senator dressed cozy and casual in his signature Vermont mittens, a parka, and was seen carrying an envelope because this is clearly not the only thing he has on his agenda today. According to Buzzfeed reporter Ruby Cramer, if you're curious about where he got his mittens, they were made by Jen Ellis, a teacher from Vermont who made them from repurposed wool from sweaters. I personally would like a pair!
Unfortunately, Ellis has informed her followers that she has no more mittens for sale though she appreciates the love her mittens are getting. She did suggest that those who are interested search Etsy for mittens that are much like the ones she made.
